Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning "wheel". These wheels are spinning energy vortices found emanating from certain locations on the body. They are not part of the physical body, but help connect the body's subtle (4 bodies) energy fields. There are seven power centers in your body, 7 chakras. The state of each
chakra reflects the health of a particular area of your bodies. It also
reflects your psychological, emotional and spiritual well-being. Chakras serve to:
Every thought and experience you've ever had in your life gets filtered through these chakra databases. Each event is recorded into your cells. In other words, "your biography becomes your biology." Each chakra relates to a specific gland, specific emotion, mental, or spiritual concern. When chakra energy is blocked or misdirected, emotional and physical illness can arise. You can explore your seven power centers and see how they reflect what's
happening in your body - in your life - allowing you to: In addition to the main chakra points there are about a hundred smaller secondary chakras. The smaller points are often called meridians and are used during acupuncture. The secondary chakra points deal with action and physicality. The primary chakras deal with emotions and spirituality. The primary chakras influence your health greatly, the health concerns related to them are caused by an unbalance in the chakra itself, from an emotional or spiritual cause, which then manifests into a physical ailment. Modern technology has demonstrated that there is greater electro-magnetic activity at these centers. We process information through our chakras. There is an exchange of energy between our chakra centers and the universal energy field. Our bodies are healthier when these centers are open and balanced. The condition of the chakras affects our perceptions, the way we experience life. Dowsing It takes practice and sensitivity to feel with the hands whether these centers are open or closed. Some use a pendulum to detect the state of the chakra. The pendulum is held over each chakra, close to the body, but does not touch. Empty the mind of all thoughts The pendulum will begin to move in a circular pattern, elliptical or a straight line. The amount of movement is determined by the flow of energy moving through the chakra. A clockwise movement denotes that the chakra is open, meaning that the feelings and psychological experiences which are governed by and through that chakra are balanced. Counterclockwise spin - feelings and psychological experiences which are governed by the energy flow through that chakra are blocked If the circle is large, more energy flowing, greater amount of strength in chakra If the circle is small = less energy flowing = weak The ideal is to get all chakras open with the same amount of energy flowing through them, the circles made by the pendulum should be relatively the same in size.
